“A Reading Mother – A Reading Child”

“A Reading Mother – A Reading Child”
A roundtable discussion was organized by the Fergana District Information-Library Center as part of the “A Reading Mother – A Reading Child” project. The event took place at the home of the Yunusaliyev family, residing at 64 Navqiron Street in the Novkent *mahalla* (neighborhood) citizens' assembly. Family members—mothers and their children—participated in the discussion, exchanging views on the role of reading in personal development, fostering a culture of reading within the family, and raising the younger generation to be spiritually well-rounded individuals.
During the discussion, the importance of books in enriching human thought and broadening one’s worldview was highlighted, and participants shared insights about their favorite literary works.
Such spiritual and educational initiatives serve to increase young people's interest in books and promote a culture of reading within families.
